2009 Frome By-election

The resignation of the Hon Rob Kerin has created a vacancy in the State House of Assembly District of Frome. A by-election to elect a new member will be held on Saturday 17 January 2009. Remember, voting is COMPULSORY if you are enrolled in the District of Frome.

ELECTION TIMETABLE:

Issue of the Writ: Friday 28 November 2008
Close of the Roll: Monday 8 December 2008 at 12 noon
Close of Nominations: Thursday 18 December 2008 at 12 noon

Early Voting will be available during office hours from Monday 22 December 2008 until 5pm on Friday 16 January in Port Pirie at the former courthouse at 131 Florence St, or in Adelaide at the State Electoral Office at 134 Fullarton Rd (cnr Kensington Rd) Rose Park.

Completed postal vote applications must be received by the State Electoral Office by 5pm Thursday 15 January 2009.

Election Day: Saturday 17 January 2009 between 8am and 6pm
