The voters roll for this supplementary election closes at 5 pm on Tuesday 30 November 2022.

You can check if you are on the state electoral roll online on the Australian Electoral Commission's website (external link). If you do not appear on the roll and are an Australian citizen aged 18 or over you should enrol immediately via the Australian Electoral Commission website (external link).

If you are not eligible to enrol on the state electoral roll you may still be entitled to enrol to vote if you own or occupy a property or are a resident non-Australian citizen. Contact the Council to find out how on 08 8569 0100 or visit the Mid Murray Council (external link).

Nominating

Becoming a member of council is a great way to represent and help make a difference to your local community.

The nomination period for the vacancy of Councillor for Eyre Ward will open on Thursday 30 December 2021 and will close at 12 noon on Thursday 13 January 2022.

If you are interested in nominating, nomination kits will be available from the council office at 49 Adelaide Rd, Mannum SA 5238.

A candidate briefing session will be held for intending candidates with a date to be confirmed closer to the event.
