Having already served two terms on Council and undertaken various roles within it, I believe that my experience and links to the community make me well positioned to be a very effective member of Council. I strongly believe Council has an important role to perform in maintaining the community's unique quality of lifestyle and general wellbeing. Council needs to mindful that its costs are kept to a minimum and that its undertakings represent value for rate payers money. Council needs to be transparent in its affairs and responsive to community issues in a timely manner If elected to Council my key priority will be to help make improvements in infrastructure while maintaining the integrity of existing assets and be proactive in seeking the best possible outcomes for ratepayers. I will also encourage Council to help facilitate sustainable economic growth by taking advantage of opportunities as they arise. Contact details: 0488 144 578 |
