Have you received an Apparent Failure to Vote Notice from us?

On Friday 8 June 2018, Electoral Commission SA issued notices to 63,715 electors who, according to our records, failed to vote at the South Australian State election held on Saturday 17 March 2018.

This notice is an opportunity for electors to provide a reason for their apparent failure to vote. It is not a fine.

If an elector fails to provide a valid and sufficient reason for not voting or fails to respond by Friday 6 July 2018, they will be issued with a fine.

If you have received this notice, please complete the required sections on the back of the notice and return to us using the enclosed reply-paid envelope. Failure to respond to the notice will result in further action in the non-voters process. Another person may respond on your behalf if you are unable to do so.

If you require further information or assistance, please contact Non-Voters Customer Service.
