Record number of electors

The 2018 State Election sees a record number of electors enrolled.

The rolls closed at 12 noon Friday 23 February with 1,201,775 South Australians enrolled to vote. This marks an increase of approximately 60,000 compared to the 1,142,419 enrolled for the 2014 State Election.

The Electoral Commissioner, Mr Mick Sherry, is pleased to see enrolments have increased by 5.2% compared to the 2014 State Election campaign.

 Enrolment activity over the last month prior to roll close saw almost 25,000 electors enrolled or updated.
