DANIELL, Nathan

Since 2014, I have represented Adelaide Hills residents as an elected member and served as Deputy Mayor for over six years. This experience has given me a deep understanding of our community’s aspirations and challenges. I live in Bridgewater with my wife and children, hold a PhD in Health, and teach at Heathfield High School. My leadership is grounded in professionalism, accountability, collaboration, respect, and empathy. As Mayor, I will ensure the community’s views are heard, and focus on strengthening financial sustainability, enhancing disaster preparedness, and protecting the character and amenity of the Hills. Core elements of the Hills culture that I will champion are supporting our thriving sport and recreation facilities, caring for our natural environment, assisting small business, and celebrating arts and heritage. I will work effectively with residents and councillors to help our region thrive as a sustainable and prosperous place to live. www. nathandaniell. com 0400341082

McDONNELL, Georgia

I’m 100% a Hills girl. I've lived in Upper Sturt for 24 years and counting, and like many of you, am a small business owner and committed volunteer. I believe that most challenges can be solved by creating spaces to listen, understand different views and find common ground. This belief has been shaped by nearly 20 years of involvement with the Upper Sturt Soldiers Memorial Hall and through my work with other groups and committees. I am a community engagement professional, and I will put my skills to work for you. I want to see our rates directed where they are needed most: maintaining and improving reliable services, supporting community-led initiatives, protecting the amenity, serenity and heritage of our Hills. I am deeply committed to succession planning because I want future generations to experience the same character-defining community life that has shaped me. Together, we can honour our past, strengthen our present and build the future you imagine. Your Voice. Our Hills.
