Donors are reminded that if they have made gifts with amounts or values of more than $5,838 between 1 July 2022 and 31 December 2022 to:
- a registered political party, associated entity or third party ('relevant entity'); or
- a person or body with the intention of benefitting a relevant entity,
they are required to lodge a donor return by Tuesday 31 January 2023.
These returns can be lodged via the funding and disclosure portal.
Party agents are also reminded that they must inform donors of the requirement to lodge a return in relation to a gift to a registered political party.
